TMI Tuesday

I have a longer post in the works but for now I will keep you entertained with the following:

TMI Tuesday #235

Which one:

Smelly feet or smelly breath?

          Gross. Smelly feet.

Overwhelming pleasure or repetitive numbing pain?

          Overwhelming pleasure.

Phone calls or text messages?

Text messages. Hate talking on the phone!

Being spanked or getting spanked?

          Yes please.

Go blind or become deaf ?

Deaf. Being blind scares me. Being deaf would suck due to lack of music but the bright side is tuning out the morons of the world!

Bonus (optional):What is one choice you've made that you would like to change the outcome to?

Like I said in another post, everything that has happened in my life has led me to where I am now. While there are things in my life I may not have enjoyed at the time, everything led me here and I am happy for that. Who knows where I would be today had I not experienced the pains and the joys of yesterday. Kind of cliche, I suppose, but no less true.

Tuesday

Stumbled upon this little gem here and I laughed so I thought I would share. Happy Tuesday!

Who are you? (Part 7)

In continuance of my last few posts: Part 7 – It is Over!

(They skipped portions 5 and 6.)

Who are you? Part 7: Self Image

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you:

I wake with the baby and we prepare breakfast/lunches for the day. I take Babe to work, drop the oldest at school, and come back home. We clean and play. I put her down for a nap and eat lunch. When she wakes we pick up the oldest from school and get Babe from work. He comes home and showers. I make dinner. We check the oldest's homework and take him to practice. When the kids are down and the chores are done for the evening, Babe and I relax to one of the many TV shows we have been watching. Then comes my favorite part of the day, crawling into bed with the love of my life.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?

          Loyalty and honesty.

86. What is your greatest weakness?

I lack patience with most people and am rather introverted.

87. Are you going to run for President in 2016?

          Haha.

88. Are you generally self-contained?

Yes, although I love allowing my husband to do things for me to feel needed.

89. Are you generally organized or messy?

          Organized.

90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at:

          Good: sex, cooking, basketball
          Bad: writing, socializing, commitment

91. Do you like your neighbours? Do they like you?

We haven't really met them. They are quiet enough, which is nice.

92. Are you different in public then you act among friends?

          No.

93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?

I'm still struggling with this one. I need to do a little soul searching and determine what I want from life aside from my family. I would love to raise happy, healthy children. On that note, I have been thinking I might want four. We have two and have talked about being done here but the more I think of it, the more I think I would love to have a big family. I haven't talked to Babe yet. He said he would be happy if I was pregnant again and would love more children but that he's also happy with two. We will see.

94. Where do you see yourself in 4 years?

Maybe with another baby or two, maybe pregnant, or maybe back in the workforce with an amazing job. Hopefully, we get stationed somewhere cool. I would love to see more of the world in this adventure.

95. If you could choose, how would you want to leave this world?

Hopefully when my children are old enough to understand. Peacefully. Quietly.

96. If you had only one week to live, what three things would be bumped up on the bucket list?

I would just want to spend as much time with my family as possible. I would take the little one to experience as many things as possible and just soak in her sweet smile.

97. What is one thing about you that really stands out?

I'm not sure about this one.

98. What three words best describe your personality?

          Quiet, Smart, Passionate.

99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?

          Probably something similar to #98.

100. What advice do you have to give?

None to give but plenty could be used...

Who Are You? (Part 3 & 4)

In continuance of my last two posts: Part 3 & 4 – Is it over yet?

Who are you? Part 3: Past

34. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Most important or most influential? Or most defining? I'm not sure which I would say is most important. I will touch on these as my writing progresses. Much too large a question for now.

35. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

The greatest achievement I worked toward is graduating college.  I consider my children a great achievement as well.

36. What is your greatest regret?

I'm not sure I fully regret any decisions I have made. Everything I have done got me to the place I am today and saying I regret any of it would imply I am not happy. I love my husband, my children, and the life we have created for ourselves. Therefore, I wouldn't change any of it, no matter the resulting pain.

37. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?

Evil. Depends on who you ask, I suppose.

38. When was the time you were the most frightened?

Eleven years ago I was raped by my basketball coach. I was 16 and naive. Most frightening experience of my life.

39. What is your best memory?

So many to chose from. The night I met my husband is one of my favorite. The day he asked me to marry him was pretty amazing. The day our daughter was born was more magical than I ever could have dreamed. I have had my fair share of trials but the last few years have brought me the joy I have always desired.

Who are you? Part 4: Beliefs and Opinions

40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?

          Optimistic in most situations.

41. What is your greatest fear?

          Failure.

42. What are your religious views?

          I was raised Christian.

43. State a random opinion?

George W. Bush is a moron.

44. What are your views on sex?

That is an extremely open-ended question. Love it.

45. Are you able to cook?

Yes, very well I am told.

46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?

Murder is pretty evil. The massacre a the Batman movie in Aurora was extremely disturbing to me.

47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?

          No.

48. What do you believe makes a successful life?

          Happiness.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings?

I intend to be fully open here but I do not reveal a whole lot to most people.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

          Who doesn't?

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?

I will not ever cheat on my husband or ever abandon my children.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?

          My family.

Who Are You? (Part 2)

In continuance of my last post:

Who are you? Part 2: The Grown Up Meme

15. How would you describe your childhood in general?

There are good and bad memories, as with every childhood, but overall, I had a very happy childhood.

16. What is your earliest memory?

I have thought about this often and always wonder what are actual memories and what are "memories" from pictures I have seen of my childhood. I believe my earliest memories are kindergarten playing with friends, getting stitches in my chin, breaking my arm, and a limo ride I won.

17. How much schooling have you had?

Graduated college. Contemplated grad school but started a family instead.

18. Did you enjoy school?

Yes, I have always enjoyed learning.

19. Stop and count, Since you were born until today; how many homes have you lived in?

          Sixteen.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models?

          My dad.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?

As well as any other family. I get along with my dad a lot better than my mom as he and I are a lot more alike

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

          An oceanographer or animal trainer.

23. What were your favorite activities 3 years ago?

Before kids, the possibilities were endless. Basketball, reading, hiking, my dog, drinking, sex, music, the beach...

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

I was rather quiet, shy but certainly a tomboy.

25. As a child, were you popular?

I was never the most popular but always smart, involved, and never an outcast or least popular.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss?

No sappy, fun story here but I have an extremely entertaining story about the night my husband and I met and some fun ex-boyfriend stories.

27. Describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.

Influences. Loaded question. I believe everything I have been through and everyone I have known has shaped who I am as a person today. Whether large or small, good or bad, everyone and everything makes me look at life a little different. I am constantly learning, constantly growing.

28. What’s next?

Your guess is as good as mine. I feel as though I am treading water at the moment. My husband (we will call him "Babe" from now on, for lack of a better nickname at the moment) is in the process of joining the military and will be leaving for boot camp in the next couple months. It has been a long road to get to this place but it still seems as though we are not moving forward with our lives. Waiting is hard. He is currently working to support the family and I stay at home with the kids. I will continue to stay home with them at least until we know where we will be stationed. More on my hopes and dreams in a future post.

Who Are You? (Part 1)

In an effort to get things started, I looked up memes. Answering a few questions about myself should break the ice a bit.

To begin I found the following on Sunday Stealing and thought it might be a good place to begin.

Who are you? Part 1: I Don’t Know, The Same Things You Don’t Know

1. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Things that involve driving bug me. I suppose I have a fair amount of roadrage. I CANNOT stand it when people leave their turn signal on if they are not immediately turning or forget to turn it off after changing lanes. I also can't stand it when people drive the speed limit in the fast lane. Another huge pet peeve is manners. I can't stand eating a meal with someone chewing with their mouth open.

2. Where and when were you born?

I'm an 80's baby, born and raised in Cali.

3. Where did your parents meet?

I have been told they met through work.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like in four words?

A sister. Fun, bitch, loving, follower.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom?

Live with my family. Still in Cali.

6. What is your occupation?

          Stay at home mama.

7. Write a full description of yourself.

Wife. Mama. Dog lover. Intelligent. Loyal. Sexaholic. Confident yet insecure. Chef. Book lover.

8. To which social class do you belong?

We live comfortably for the time being.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

No allergies I know of. No diseases. I feel physically weak as a result of a c-section (we will cover that story soon enough.)

10. Are you right- or left-handed?

          Right.

11. What does your voice sound like?

Sexy as fuck. Actually, I think I sound like a dude but there must be something nice about it or I wouldn't be so great at seduction.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

"Fuck." (I suppose I have a mouth like a sailor.)

13. What do you have in your pockets?

          Lint.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

Tons. Ask my husband. I drive him INSANE. Since we're being completely honest, I can't stand it when people chew loudly. It bugs me that it bugs me so much but I can't help it.

So It Begins...

I have been contemplating a blog for awhile now. I feel there are so many things I need to get off my chest and no one really to talk to about them. I would love to hear an outsider's opinion on the craziness I call my life. Blogging has fascinated me but I never really felt capable of accurately conveying my thoughts and feelings or sharing some of these with the people I know. So, this little place I have created as a space for my thoughts, musings, feelings ... somewhere to house my confessions.

I hope to be articulate and funny. I hope to be entertaining. I hope to be unique.

I plan to write about things floating through my head for awhile now. Life. Love. Husband's Ex-Girlfriends. Cheating. Children. Insecurities. Goals.

I want to tell the story I can't tell.
